Message From the Cape Cod Municipal Police Academy Director Peter L. Carnes
On Behalf of the Chiefs of Police of the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council, the Police Academy Board of Directors, the County Commissioners of Barnstable County, and our County Administrator, it is my privilege to welcome you to this site that provides very important links for application process, physical requirements, as well as the payment for Attendance at the Recruit Class starting January 2021.
We are extremely proud to have this Academy become a reality within our Cape Cod and Islands Region. We also recognize our valuable partners at Joint Base Cape Cod, who have provided extraordinary assistance for this endeavor to become an opportunity to provide excellence in Police Recruit Training.
Successful completion of the ROC is required under M.G.L. Chapter 41 §96B to be a sworn municipal, University of Massachusetts, or environmental police officer in the Commonwealth.
